Real-time leadership communication

I enjoyed speaking with Jon Erlichman on BNN Bloomberg TV about how CEOs need to deliver reality to match their rhetoric when it comes to taking virtuous stands. Walk the talk, not just talk the walk. Corporate communicators also have to realize that business announcements affecting employees – such as wage reductions and layoffs – need to be carefully considered and well planned in the context of company earnings and executive compensation to avoid glaring contrasts that create controversy.
